Distribuidora de Hierro y Acero S.A. (DIHASA) is a Costa Rican based company with over 25 years of experience in the metallurgic and architectural furnishings industries, offering since its inception products of the best available quality in several different categories.

Our history begins in 1985, importing and distributing steel and iron, activities which over time have evolved and today include a wide variety of stainless steel products, such as flat sheets, tubes, bars and many more.

In 1995 we identified a market segment that was unattended and we started importing wrought iron, quickly becoming the clear market leader in Costa Rica. We offer individual ornamental elements and also finished products, such as gates, fences, staircases and more. Our brand, ARTEFERRERO, is associated with the highest quality and best service in the industry. Our products can be found throughout the country, both in hardware stores and in self-service/DIY establishments.
